Copper Canyon Daisy (aka Mountain Marigold) is one of the easiest & showiest low-water plants we carry. Fast-growing, long-flowering and easy to maintain, this plant is perfect for beginning low-water gardeners! Native to Arizona and Mexico, it quickly reaches 4-6 ft. high & wide and sometimes wider. Beginning in Fall, when almost everything else has called time-out to watch Sunday Night Football, Mountain Marigold blooms like crazy with hundreds of yellow-orange marigold flowers that brighten any garden. Flowers continue straight thru Winter, sometimes into Spring or longer if conditions are right! Loves Full Sun and laughs at reflected heat as if it were a George Lopez concert; Also works well in part shade situations. Prune yearly in Spring or Early Summer to keep compact and fresh. Gives off a 'wild' scent, but only if brushed against. Deep water twice a month during dry season for best results.
